Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Bridging Families Academy handles website inquiries, enrollment information, attendance records, and training-session recordings.

Effective date: July 18, 2026

Information You Choose to Provide

The Academy may collect contact information, city and state, professional role, experience, course-format preference, learning goals, accommodation requests, acknowledgment responses, payment-related status, submitted assignments, completion certificates, and communications.

How Information Is Used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, administer enrollment, deliver coursework, verify identity and attendance, review assignments, provide accommodations, process payments, determine certificate eligibility, maintain education records, protect course materials, and comply with legal obligations.

Public Forms Are Not for Case Records

Do not submit confidential family-court records, child information, medical information, protective orders, case narratives, or privileged communications through the public website forms.

Training Attendance Records

The Academy may retain instructor attendance logs, platform attendance reports, LMS activity, roll calls, timed-check responses, polls, knowledge checks, visible-camera confirmations, assignment submissions, completion certificates, and assessment results to document course participation and eligibility.

Training Session Recordings

Sessions or designated portions may be recorded for attendance verification, quality assurance, accessibility, or resolution of an attendance dispute. Participants receive advance notice, and any required consent procedure will be followed. Access is restricted to authorized personnel or service providers with a legitimate operational need. Recordings are not distributed as course replays, are not a substitute for live attendance, and are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, operational records, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

Form Delivery and Security

Website forms are delivered to Academy personnel using the website’s hosting and email systems. The Academy uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention and Disclosure

Records are retained for operational, educational, accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes. Information may be disclosed to service providers supporting hosting, email, learning platforms, video conferencing, payments, or accessibility; when authorized by the participant; or when required by law.

External Websites

Links to courts, government agencies, forms, and training platforms are governed by those organizations’ privacy practices.
